Located in the historic Back Bay section of Boston, Bay State’s four residence halls are original, stately Victorian townhouses and brownstones. Set along a tree-lined promenade that is part of Boston’s Emerald Necklace of connected parks, our residence halls offer a convenient and stimulating location to enhance your experience at Bay State College.
Bay State’s Department of Residence Life works to offer a positive living and learning environment in our residence halls to complement the academic mission of the College. To this end, staff members are visible, available, and approachable in order to assist students with personal growth opportunities and academic success. The focus of the staff is on creating a community within the hall where students feel a sense of belonging and community, in addition to providing a clean and safe environment.
The staff members in the Department of Residence Life are part of the Office of Student Affairs at Bay State College. A live-in professional staff member and several Resident Assistants staff each of our halls. These individuals promote the safety, security, and personal well-being of all Bay State College students. Additionally, our staff plans numerous activities for residents to enjoy, including both social and educational programs. Our goal is to create an environment within each hall where students participate in meaningful activities that facilitate student development.
