IELTS Preparation Course
SACE IELTS Preparation Course is a full-time course to prepare students for the IELTS Examination or for Direct Entry to TAFE or SACE English for Tertiary Studies II.
General English Programmes
SACE General English courses are designed to help students communicate in English as quickly and efficiently as possible. The courses are designed to develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills and are carefully structured to improve your fluency and accuracy.
Cambridge Examination Preparation
Cambridge qualifications have a very high level of international recognition both by universities and employers as evidence of the appropriate standards in English. The SACE Cambridge Examination Preparation Course helps students prepare for the examinations.
Evergreen 50+ Course
SACE Evergreen Programmes cater for students 50 years or older who wish to combine a yearning to travel and explore new destinations with the opportunity to learn English or improve their English fluency and proficiency.
English & TOEIC Preparation
The TOEIC test (Test of English for International Communication) is an English language proficiency test for people whose native language is not English. It measures everyday English skills of people working in an international environment. TOEIC test scores indicate how well people can communicate in English with others in the global work place.

English & Work Experience
The SACE Colleges (Adelaide, Hobart & Whitsundays) organise a Work Experience Programme for its students to enable students to benefit not only from practical experience in an Australian Workplace but also to develop an appreciation and understanding of Australian Workplace Culture, language and customs. This practical experience can add value to a students resume and career opportunities.
Accommodation is an important part of the students’ language experience. SACE Colleges take great care in selecting accommodation – homestay, hotels or apartments.
Families are carefully selected, and students carefully matched with host families.
In selecting homestay families, SACE believes it is important to choose families who appreciate hosting international students. SACE homestay is usually a very successful and happy experience for the student.
In selecting host families, we do not look for luxury and comfort in the material sense but for families who appreciate receiving international students (the word family should not be taken too literally; our families could include a single parent or a childless couple who take in students because they enjoy the company).
Homestay accommodation includes 3 meals per day and all bed linen and towels.There is a minimum booking of four week’s homestay unless course length is less than 4 weeks.
Shared rooms are available for students travelling together.
Hostel Accommodation
Hostel accommodation is available in the Hobart area. Most hostel accommodation is based on a shared room basis.
