DVC (Diablo Valley College) is a two-year community college located in Pleasant Hill, California, approximately 37 minutes from San Francisco.

DVC offers the first two years of the American Bachelor Degree. After completing two years at DVC students may transfer into the 3rd year of a four year university. DVC is consistently number 1 in transferring students to UC Berkeley.

DVC offers Transfer Admission Guarantees (TAG’s) that guarantee international students admission into UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Merced, UC Santa Barbara and UC Santa Cruz. DVC also has transfer agreements to all the California State Universities, such as San Jose State and San Francisco State University.

DVC has a simple admission procedure. You must be a high school graduate and be or be at least 18 years old. There is no entrance exam, such as the SAT, but international students need to have a good level of English (500 TOEFL, 61 Ibt or 5.5 IELTS).
